For our own sports court and our weekly sports classes in the countryside, we’re constantly on the lookout to replace worn-out equipment or add fresh new gear to keep things exciting! / Für unseren eigenen Sportplatz und die wöchentlichen Sportkurse auf dem Land sind wir ständig auf der Suche, abgenutzte Ausrüstungen zu ersetzen oder frisches neues Material hinzuzufügen, um die Spannung und den Spass zu erhalten!

Our students stay at Lighthouse during most public holidays, but a few times a year, we surprise them with exciting excursions to break the routine and keep the energy high! / Meistens bleiben unsere Schüler/innen an Feiertagen im Lighthouse, aber ein paar Mal im Jahr überraschen wir sie mit aufregenden Ausflügen, um den Alltag aufzulockern und die Energie hochzuhalten!

Our rice is always cooked over a wood fire, the only proper way to do it here in Cambodia, while for the rest of the meal, we use gas. / Unser Reis wird immer über einem Holzfeuer gekocht, die einzig richtige Art, dies hier in Kambodscha zu tun, während wir für den Rest der Mahlzeit Gas verwenden.

As our Lighthouse Pursat Base continues to grow, so does the need for an affordable and compact solution to amplify our voices effectively through a loudspeaker. / Da unsere Lighthouse Pursat Base weiterwächst, steigt auch der Bedarf an einer kompakten und kostengünstigen Lösung, um unsere Stimmen effektiv über einen Lautsprecher zu verstärken.

With our growing number of Students, Trainees, and Staff, our dining area and kitchen quickly became too small, making a new kitchen unavoidable! / Mit der wachsenden Anzahl unserer Schüler/innen, Trainees und Mitarbeiter wurde unser Essbereich und die Küche schnell zu klein – eine neue Küche war unvermeidbar!"

This gift will supply 35 students with 100 kg of rice - enough for a whole week! / Durch dieses Geschenk werden 35 Schüler mit 100 kg Reis versorgt - dies reicht für eine ganze Woche!

The Family Event is an annual two-day trip where everyone, including Lighthouse Pursat, comes together. This currently involves over 80 people. / Das Family Event findet einmal im Jahr statt und ist eine zweitägige Reise, an der wirklich alle teilnehmen, auch Lighthouse Pursat. Derzeit sind das über 80 Personen.

In February (2024) we opened our own library which is open to the public. We already have many books and hope to fill it with more. / Im Februar (2024) haben wir unsere eigene Bibliothek eröffnet, die der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich ist. Wir haben bereits einige Bücher und hoffen, sie mit noch mehr zu füllen.

At Lighthouse Pursat, the band is growing faster than we can stand it—literally! We’re in need of 6 music stands, 2 guitar stands, 2 note stands, and 2 mic stands to keep our ever-expanding musical family in tune and on point / Unsere Band in Lighthouse Pursat wächst schneller, als wir stehen können – im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes! 🎶 Wir brauchen 6 Notenständer, 2 Gitarrenständer, 2 Notenständer und 2 Mikrofonständer, um unsere immer grössere musikalische Familie bestens auszustatten.

We aim to organize 1-4 engaging internal workshops annually for our Staff and Trainees, while also providing targeted continued education to help them grow wherever it’s most needed. / Unser Ziel ist es, jährlich 1-4 interne Workshops für unsere Mitarbeiter und Trainees zu organisieren und sie dort mit Weiterbildungen zu unterstützen, wo es am sinnvollsten ist.

With 30$ we can cover the school fees of one student for one month. / Mit 30$ können wir die Schulgebühren eines/einer Schüler/in für einen Monat finanzieren.
