Lighthouse Pursat would like to thank AOG for offering us a free health check-up and workshop for our students. We were taught a lot about our health and practical ways to keep our health in tact. ![]()
A big thank you to Juliette, our Lighthouse Pursat volunteer from France, after initial meetings with Sampov Meas School. Juliette has been invited to teach English, for 2 hours per day, at their school located in Pursat. Juliette’s teaching methods, using gestures help the children to easily understand and learn a great amount. We are very thankful for this partnership between Lighthouse Pursat and Sampov Meas School.![]()

ចាប់ពីថ្ងៃទី 13 រហូតដល់ថ្ងៃទី 16 ខែមេសា នៅប្រទេសកម្ពុជាយើងបានប្រារព្ធនូវពិធីបុណ្យចូលឆ្នាំថ្មី និងសង្ក្រាន្តឆ្នាំថ្មី។ មុនពេលយើងបញ្ជូនសិស្សវិទ្យាល័យយើងផ្ទះវិញអង្គការផ្ទះពន្លឺបាត់ដំបងបានរៀបចំពិធីជប់លៀងលាគ្នានៅថ្ងៃសុក្រ ទី ៥ ខែមេសា។ សិស្សានុសិស្ស, បុគ្គលិកហាត់ការ និងបុគ្គលិកបានបែងចែកជា 6 ក្រុមដើម្បីប្រកួតប្រជែងគ្នាក្នុងវិញ្ញាសារហ្គេមមួយចំនួនដូចជា ល្បែងទាញព្រ័ត្រ រាំដណ្តើមកៅអី, ការប្រណាំងបាវ,ហ្គេមម្សៅ និងហ្គេមជាច្រើនទៀត។ គ្រប់គ្នាពិតសប្បាយរីករាយយ៉ាងខ្លាំង ជាពិសេសក្រុមដែលមានទេពកោសល្យដែលទទួលបានជ័យលាភីលេខ១ សូមអបអរសាទរក្រុមពណ៌ទឹកក្រូច។ បន្ទាប់ពីការប្រកួតហើយ អ្នកដឹកនាំបន្ទប់ទាំងប្រាំនិយាយចែកចាយអំពីពីអ្វីដែលពួកគេបានជួបប្រទះក្នុងឆ្នាំសិក្សានេះ រហូតមកដល់ឥទ្បូវ។ លោកគ្រូ វណ្ណា និយាយពាក្យលើកទឹកចិត្ត ក្រោយមកពួកយើងទាំងអស់គ្នាហូបបបរខ្មែររួមគ្នា។ មុនពេលយើងទៅផ្ទះមានការប្រកួតរាំលេងព្រមទាំងលេងទឹកអមដោយតន្រ្តីផងដែល។ សួស្តីឆ្នាំថ្មីប្រពៃណីជាតិខ្មែរ ដល់អ្នកគាំទ្ររបស់យើងទាំងអស់ជុំវិញពិភពលោក បើគ្មានអ្នកទាំងអស់គ្នាទេ រឿងនេះនឹងមិនអាចកើតឡើងបានទេ។![]()

From the 13th until the 16th of April 2024 we celebrate New Year and Songkran here in Cambodia. Prior to sending our high school students home, Lighthouse Battambang organized a farewell / Songkran party, on Friday the 5th of April. Students, Trainees and Staff were divided into 6 teams which competed against each other during a selection of games such as tug of war, musical chairs, free style - sack race, pass the powder game and more. Everyone enjoyed themselves tremendously, especially the talented team which received the first prize, congratulations to team orange. After the games the 5 room leaders told us what they have experienced this school year, so far. Teacher Vanna spoke words of encouragement and then we all ate Cambodian rice porridge. Before we went home there was a water fight for those who were yearning to battle it out under water with music in the background. Happy Cambodian New Year to all our supporters around the globe, without you none of this would be possible.![]()
